Flying with the Doves

A circular sky-map of small signs—boats, houses, hats—through which doves travel as emblems of peace. At the centre, a patterned figure is suspended in flight: a body made of repeated marks, carrying memory rather than luggage. The work reflects a childhood lived alongside war and the complicated relief that follows its ending: a country learning to breathe again, still waiting for its promised colour.
